24 October 2017In July 2017, hotel use inTahiti increased by 9.5% compared to July 2016, says the Tahiti Institute of Statistics (ISPf). This increase in the number of rented rooms concerns all markets except the Japanese market (-12%).
The number of rooms rented by metropolitan customers rose by 31% and this increase contributed five points to the evolution of this month.
Management indicators are evolving in line with rising attendance. The average filling factor (CMR) stands at 78%, up 3.2 points. The average revenue per rented room (RMC) is 45,353 F.CFP and the average income per room available (RevPar), 35,375 F.CFP; they increase by 10% and 13% respectively. The RevPar makes it possible to better understand the links between the filling and the selling price. RevPar is expressed excluding taxes.
Year-to-date, the average load factor (CMR) was up by 2.1 points to 67.1%. It was ten points lower in 2013.
