2017 Wedding Expo Set For Next Month

            July 7, 2017

Setting hearts aflutter once again is the ultimate “Wedding Expo – I Do” that will be held on August 5-6, at the Sir John Guise indoor complex.
The event brings together PNG’s best wedding organisers, florists, cake makers, dressmakers, photographers and jewelry stores providing the extensive range of options.
Tickets will be sold at affordable prices for brides and grooms-to-be together with their bridal party and family to attend.
The event, launched in 2016, saw a record number of weddings booked at the Nature Park in Port Moresby.
This has encouraged them to not only take part again, but also provide a wedding package prize for one lucky bride and groom-to-be.
The wedding package prize includes venue hire and entry for 100 guests as part of a beautiful garden setting wedding.
To win the perfect garden wedding, all clients have to do is enter at the Nature Park booth at the Wedding Expo.
The winner of the wedding package prize will be drawn and announced at the end of the weekend.
Nature Park’s marketing and communications manager Burgess Yopolo said after last year’s expo, they have been hosting a lot of wedding receptions at the park.
“After the 2016 Wedding Expo, we have seen an increase in the number of weddings being held at the Nature Park. We have at least one to four weddings a month. The Wedding Expo has been very beneficial to us in terms of increase in revenue,” Mr Yopolo said.
The expo will be a great opportunity to pick out wedding rings, select a photographer, see the different types of floral bouquets in season and taste test some of the country’s best cake makers’ creations.
Tickets for the Wedding Expo can be acquired at the Nature Park, Jules Collins at Vision City, Nesian Hair and Beauty (Waigani) or contact Mary-Claire on 7539 3150.
Major sponsors include Rapopo Resort, Sanctuary, Nesian Hair and Beauty, Frangipani Printing, Colourboys and Nature Park and the organisers include Next of Kin Production, Montina Events and Pascoe Promotions.
