While you’re home – Enjoy a Cocktail . . .
21 April 2020The coronavirus pandemic is the greatest threat the world has faced in peacetime. On behalf of the people of Vanuatu, we would like to offer our thoughts and condolences to those caught up in its devastating consequences – and our respect and gratitude to all those working on the frontline to make a difference.
We fully support the strict measures introduced to contain the spread of coronavirus; strong and decisive action is critical to weathering the storm and will hasten the recovery.
Yet we also understand the disappointment of having travel plans cancelled. A holiday is something we all look forward to – an opportunity to escape the everyday and enjoy unforgettable moments. To those affected, we promise to keep Vanuatu beautiful for you, and look forward to welcoming you with open arms when the time is right. Here are five ways you can support us supporting you while we are unable to travel.
Travel and tourism is the backbone of economies throughout the world – and Vanuatu is no exception. The revenue raised by our largest industry helps improve the quality of life for everyone on these islands. So to those whose livelihoods have been impacted, we reassure you that we are doing everything possible to protect your interests and will assist in any way we can.
Please keep your families safe during these unprecedented times. And once this storm has passed, we invite you to Answer the Call of Vanuatu.
If you need anything during this time, please don’t hesitate to contact us on the details below.
