Two Fijians have been appointed by AirBNB to be their ambassadors to the region.
Priya Singh and Allen Price will be working closely with hosts to answer questions and help create attractive listing on the website with no cost to the host.
“We feel really honoured to have been appointed as ambassadors for the Pacific Islands and are very excited to grow the host community at home in Fiji,” Ms Singh said.
Airbnb is an online marketplace and hospitality service, enabling people to lease or rent short-term lodging including vacation rentals, apartment rentals, homestays, hostel beds, or hotel rooms.
It is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
