Ali Campbell, the legendary voice of UB40 and the UB40 founding members trumpeter Astro and keyboard player Mickey released the song, “Fijian Sunset”, on their album Silhouette. The song was first featured on YouTube in October, 2014.
Tourism Minister Faiyaz Koya welcomed the release saying anyone who hears the song would be inspired to visit Fiji.
“If there is a song that promotes Fiji, it is wonderful,” Mr Koya said.
