A unique partnership between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), the Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO), Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) and Fiji Hotels and Tourism Association (FHTA) has been cemented today [8 July 2020 (Suva, Fiji)].

With Fiji's tourism industry hard-hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, businesses dependent on foreigners are now focussed on attracting locals.

The two senior health officials leading Fiji's fight against Covid-19 have pleaded with Fijians not to be critical of those returning home.
