Twenty-five executive staff of Rosie Holidays have taken a ten percent pay-cut to cushion the effects of COVID-19.

Nine Pacific Destinations employees have sacrificed their employment so that their other colleagues may continue to get paid.

Given the recent global news about the COVID-19 pandemic, after much careful deliberation, Tourism Fiji has made the decision to cancel its annual Fijian Tourism Expo (FTE) 2020.

This afternoon (Thursday 19th March, 2020) the Fiji Government has announced that effective from midnight tonight, anyone entering Fiji from any overseas destination will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days, meaning they must stay in one place and avoid contact with others or going out in public as much as possible.
