The South Pacific’s Newest Conference Destination Receives Official Opening From Prime Minister Of New Zealand

The South Pacific’s newest conferencing destination, Niue, has received a high level opening this week with the opening of the Matavai Conference Centre Niue. Official proceedings included a high level diplomatic delegation from New Zealand with the Rt. Hon Bill English, Prime Minister of New Zealand and Premier of Niue Sir Toke Talagi.

American Samoa National Park Tourism Economic Benefits

A new National Park Service (NPS) report shows that 28,893 visitors to National Park of American Samoa in 2016 spent $1,689,300 in communities near the park. That spending supported 21 jobs in the local area and had a cumulative benefit to the local economy of $2,070,200.
