Leap from a dizzying 14,000ft over Nadi or the Mananuca Islands for breathtakingly beautiful bird’s-eye views of the island and reef mosaics. Surfing in Fiji

Surfing in Fiji is usually done on offshore reef breaks and Fiji has some of the best in the world like Cloudbreak, Namotu Lefts and Frigates. The winter months of April – October is the best time for experienced surfers as wind and surf conditions produce bigger waves than usual. The World Surf League’s annual ‘Fiji Pro’ competition is held at ’Cloudbreak’ in the Mamanuca Islands in June each year.

Small Ship Cruising in Fiji

Multi-day island-hopping cruises to some of Fiji’s most stunning islands operate out of Port Denarau in Nadi. Blue Lagoon Cruises and Captain Cook Cruises – the major cruise operators – visit the Mamanuca and Yasawa Island groups weekly on 3, 4 and 7 day itineraries. Most resorts contract dive shops to offer visitors both PADI or SSI certification up to specialist level. For the dive fanatic, multi-day dive adventures on liveaboard charters like ‘Nai’a’ and the ‘Fiji Siren’ enable them to reach some stunning remote dive sites.
