Champagne Beach In East Santo Successfully Launches Cruise Tourism Committee

            June 8, 2017

This is the day that the custom landowners of Champagne Beach, the chiefs and villages of Hog Harbour and East Santo, Sanma Province, tour operators; Ministry of Tourism and South Sea Shipping have been waiting for.
Champagne Beach in East Santo has successfully launched its Cruise Tourism Committee yesterday, with assistance from the Managing Director of South Sea Shipping, John Tonner and Acting Director of Tourism Development, Donald Pelam.
With about one million tourists arriving on cruise liners this year with 300,000 by air, tourism has become “everybody’s business”.
Champagne Beach has already started the ball rolling by erecting more stall structures along the white sand beach to cater for the influx of arrivals. There is so much yet to be done and everyone has to work together to welcome the visitors to Champagne Beach.
