Cruisetrends Report: Consumer Behavior In Cruise Travel And Tourism
8 November 2017A travel blogger has named the Cook Islands as one of the “hot and trending” places to visit in the Pacific.
“Travel Lemming” is managed by a United States traveler who has visited 42 countries across six continents. The blogger placed the Cook Islands third behind Moorea in French Polynesia and Exmouth, Western Australia.
Christchurch in New Zealand and Strahan and Hobart in Tasmania, are the other three that made Travel Lemming’s hot and trending places to visit list.
Describing the attractions of the Cook Islands, the Travel Lemming said the country was a hidden gem and emerging as a “hot” destination in Oceania for adventure and solitude lovers seeking a tropical backdrop.
Quoting a review of the country from another blog, “Headed Anywhere”, it said, “Due to its textbook paradise characteristics, visitors are lured to the islands for the opportunity to forget their worries and relax beachside, island hop, and enjoy the amazing adventure activities.
“The 15 atoll islands pepper the South Pacific like green jewels in turquoise and azure water protected by coral reefs. It’s not hard to find a place on the beach to relax for a few hours or find something more adventurous to spend time.
“The Cook Islands offer many activities that will allow you to live adventurously; from hiking to kayaking to driving your scooter around the island in one day.”
