Family-Friendly Accommodation Averaged Just 32% In 2016

In 2016, the average filling factor (CMR) of small family hotels increased by 8.6 points compared to 2015 to only 32.7%, reveals the Institute of Statistics (ISPf).

If only in this category of accommodation, it means that there is room for future candidates expected in the coming months with the arrival of French Blue! Provided, of course, that the operators of these structures are able to welcome our visitors as it should …

This increase in attendance benefits classified and unclassified pensions and is observed on all archipelagos. The average revenue per rented room (RMC) remains stable at 11 000 F. CFP between 2015 and 2016.

The increase in attendance comes from international customers whose market share increases by 14 points, or 76% of rooms sold.

Institutions classified as “tiare” have higher management indicators than unclassified ones; the average load factor, up from 2015, is 35.2%, or 5.7 points higher than the unclassified and the average rent per room rented (RMC), at 11,300 F.CFP , 7.6 points more than the unclassified.
