The Fiji Dive Fiesta is making a comeback after three years and will feature in our Tourism Fiji Activities Calendar for 2018.
The six-day Fiesta will be held on March 10 and is supported by Tourism Fiji, Fiji Hotels and Tourism Association and the Fiji Dive Committee.
The event will see dive agents and media from Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and North America experience some of Fiji’s best diving sites.
This includes experiences from the Suncoast and Pacific Harbour to name a few.
Dive is one of Tourism Fiji’s Niche segments and is focused on promoting the incredible dive experiences in Fiji to all its International markets.
This includes Asia where China alone has more divers being certified than any other country in the world.
Tourism Fiji chief executive officer Matthew Stoeckel said: “Dive is a critical market and we have incredible dive experiences here in Fiji.
“Not only is Fiji well known as the soft coral capital of the world, but our shark dives are also rated in the top 10 diver experiences in the world as well.
“The Dive Fiesta ensures that dive agents and media remain well informed of Fiji’s diver experiences so we can continue to attract more dive tourists from across the world.”
The Fiji Dive Fiesta 2018 will encompass a week-long, action-packed dive itinerary, rounding off with one full day of Expo / trade engagement for the group with the local dive operators.
Fiji Hotels and Tourism Association will be working with a selected property partner, to design and deliver a world-class workshop that will showcase industry leaders in dive safety and policy development for the market.
