4 September 2017Tourism Fiji launched its Luxury & Couples roadshow in Queenstown.
New resorts and a revitalised format were features of a great breakfast event attended by 30 agents, with the roadshow now heading to Christchurch, Wellington, Hamilton and Auckland, finishing on the North Shore on Friday.
Richard Hankin from Yasawa Island Resort says the Queenstown event was engaging and it was a great opportunity to showcase product to a key source market in the South Island.
Fiji gets on the road Simone Gross, Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay was also impressed.
‘It was great to interact with so many agents who are passionate about Fiji. They were enthusiastic and keen to learn more about the new luxury properties available throughout Fiji.’
Catriona McCormack, Flight Centre Queenstown says the intimate format at the roadshow was great.
‘Every product feels a lot more memorable and I’ve enjoyed personally meeting all the Fiji operators.’
Product on show includes the new adults only addition to Paradise Cove in the Yasawa Islands, the recently opened Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay with its overwater bures and Tropica Island Resort, Malolo Island revealing its exciting refurbishment.
Savasi Island resort in Savusavu and Tides Beach Resort, Taveuni Island are at the roadshow for the first time.
There are prizes at every roadshow with two major prizes, including flights to Fiji with Fiji Airways, drawn at the conclusion of the roadshows.
