Tourism Fiji is looking for a select number of wedding specialists who are keen to sell more weddings and honeymoons in the destination.

Agents who become Fiji Wedding Specialists will earn a place on a specialised wedding famil to Fiji and benefit from other referral and marketing opportunities throughout the year.

The wedding and honeymoon market is a key sector for Fiji and the country has a diverse range of experiences available for this audience.

Tourism Fiji points out that many Fijian products and suppliers are active in the wedding and honeymoon market and offer a wide variety of options – whether it be a destination wedding on a beach or an intimate honeymoon on a private island.

TF is investing in wedding and honeymoon marketing to attract Kiwis to Fiji and as part of this initiative would like to provide customers with access to specialists who can guide them through the booking process.

‘Most resorts have dedicated wedding coordinators, which makes it easy to arrange a wedding in Fiji. However, the wedding specialists can be the key liaison points from New Zealand and we see a real opportunity to grow this market from New Zealand,’ the National Tourist Office says.
