Tourism Minister, Jean-Christophe Bouissou, accompanied by the Chinese consul Long Ling and Vice Consul of China Wu Huali, as well as a delegation from Tahiti Tourisme and the Port Authority, met on the ship ” Costa Atlantica “, on Monday, the commander of the ship, Mr. Nicolo ‘Alba and Mr Tao Ren, representing the company Caissa, charterer of the ship.
On this occasion, the Minister of Tourism presented the country with gifts of welcome to Messrs Nicolo ‘Alba and Tao Ren.

The cordial meeting was an opportunity to find out what ship carrying 2009 passengers of Chinese nationality and 1200 of ed member crew . During the visit of the main bridge overlooking the city of Papeete, the minister presented to his guests the capital of French Polynesia.
It s ‘ is the firstly re-stop the ” Costa Atlantica ” in French Polynesia and, as is tradition, an exchange plate between the commander of the port, Fran ç ois Chaumette, and the captain Nicolo Alba has occurred.
This great steamer left China on November 30th for a cruise of forty-six days to discover the islands of the South Pacific
