Fiji Airways inflight magazine, FijiTime has been recognised as Australasia’s Leading Inflight Magazine for 2017 by the prestigious World Travel Awards at its regional awards gala ceremony which was held in Shanghai on Sunday night. It was nominated alongside Jetstar magazine, KiaOra Magazine (Air New Zealand), Paradise — the inflight magazine of Air Niugini, Qantas’ Spirit of Australia, Reva Tahiti Magazine (Air Tahiti), and Voyeur (Virgin Australia).
Acknowledged globally as the hallmark of industry distinction, World Travel Awards celebrates and recognises excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. Fiji Airways has previously been nominated in other categories but this is its first nomination and win in the inflight magazine category.
Fiji Airways Executive General Manager Corporate Affairs Shaenaz Voss commented on acceptance of the award: “We’re absolutely thrilled to receive this award.

Winners for the World Travel Awards are decided through a global online voting process, with awards presented across three tiers: country, regional and world awards.
