Go! Niue App Officially Launches

The Niue Chamber of Commerce is officially launched the Go! Niue App to the public on Thursday 07 June to provide a Niue directory of information for visitors and locals.

The Go! Niue App is free to download and free for businesses to have their information included. The Go! Niue App can be downloaded from the App Store for IOS/Apple, and from the Play Store for Android smartphones and tablets.

The Go! Niue App is all about Niue. It contains information on events, activities, attractions, weather, tides, cafes and restaurants, business hours and contact details, history of Niue, all at your fingertips. Users can connect directly to businesses by phone and email from the Go! Niue App.

Rae Finlay, CEO of Niue Chamber of Commerce says; “we wanted to create a cost-effective way of sharing up to date information about our members’ businesses and the digital App has provided that. The initial feedback has been excellent particularly about how user-friendly it is and best of all we can update the App in-house. This is just the start and we plan to add some additional features in the future. This will significantly reduce the amount of brochure printing that businesses and Niue Tourism need to do and provide a great digital platform to inform visitors and locals.”

The Niue Chamber of Commerce and Niue Tourism launched the Go! Niue App to travel and tourism operators, Air New Zealand and media in Auckland earlier this week. The Go! Niue App will be a great tool for them to sell Niue to prospective visitors and also for those that have booked trips to Niue to plan their itinerary and pre-book activities.

To promote and engage the community with the Go! Niue App there will be a series of “Appy Hours” over the next few weeks. We welcome locals and visitors to come along to the “Appy Hours” from 4.30pm to 5.30pm where they can celebrate the launch of the Go! Niue App and win some great prizes. Don’t forget to download the App and wear the Go! Niue App signature colour of orange to be in to win.

The Go! Niue App will also provide some great analytics to the Niue Chamber of Commerce and we will be keeping our members up to date with these. We can see how many downloads there have been, what countries users are from, what pages they have accessed plus more.
