IHG Hotels & Resorts Fiji participates in Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME)

05 April 2022 (Natadola, Fiji): InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa and Grand Pacific Hotel, who are part of IHG ® Hotels & Resorts South Pacific portfolio, were the only properties that travelled from Fiji at the recent Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) tradeshow. The tradeshow was held from the 21st – 23rd of March at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) is the leading trade event for the meetings and event industry in the Asia Pacific region. AIME is where industry decision makers connect, create, and do business. The three-day event brings together international and local buyers to access the best exhibitors from around the world.

“It was a brilliant opportunity for our team to be part of AIME and reconnect with event planners and industry decision makers,” commented Lachlan Walker, Area General Manager— South Pacific, IHG Hotels & Resorts. “The event was a three day show with fifteen distinct hotels and resorts from Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific and we are proud that InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa and Grand Pacific Hotel were the only properties present from Fiji, to attend this event and to meet up with Event Planners and Professional Conference Organizers (PCO’s). Other than a show of support for the event, our representation is indicative of how serious we are on getting our groups business back on track and staying at any of our IHG properties here in Fiji. We are fortunate to have captured some great leads for business in 2022 and beyond.”
