Aside from our previous newsletter whereby we are constructing 26 new Island Resort Rooms which will be amazing, we are excited to announce Matamanoa has engaged two new staff members with International experience to our already fabulous existing team.
Head Chef Vetaia Patrick Drikibau (dare I say ‘another Patrick, lol)
Assistant Manager Hiram Hardley Whippy
Head Chef Pate comes to us from the British Embassy in Bahrain, having also worked in various Fiji properties and the Cook Islands.
His philosophy is to produce great tasty cuisine, Pate says to do this you don’t only need a good cook and great ingredients but you need to be open minded and have a positive attitude, a good Chef without his brigade is like a general going to war without his army.
Assistant Manager Hiram Hardley Whippy – comes to Matamanoa from Vanuatu, also having worked in various properties in Fiji.
Hiram is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and with his previous all round experience will do just that on Matamanoa.
