New Appointment For Island Resort

Treasure Island Fiji has appointed Craig Powell as its new General Manager.

In a statement, Treasure Island Fiji said Mr Powell, a former general manager for Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort in Sigatoka, would begin his new role on January 15. Treasure Island Ltd chairperson Bill Whiting said the island property was fortunate to have someone of Mr Powell’s experience and ability as general manager.

He said it was exciting to be able to employ a local home grown talent.

Mr Powell said he was looking forward to taking on the new challenge.

He said he was thrilled to join the team at Treasure Island Fiji and work with them to transform the resort into a polished South Pacific jewel in the Mamanuca Group. Mr Powell replaces former general manager Robert Wade.
