Cruise Ships Ahoy For December!
14 December 2017New Caledonia Tourism, in partnership with New Cal Events, the Marriott, GLP, Château Royal Resort hotels and the Tjibaou Cultural Centre, organised a Fam Trip for seven Australian and New Zealand Professional Conference Organisers from 21 to 26 November, in order to strengthen the position of the destination in the growth MICE market sector.
From 21 to 26 November, seven Australian and New Zealand Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs) were invited by New Caledonia Tourism (NCT), in partnership with New Cal Events, the Marriott, GLP, Château Royal Resort & Spa hotels and the Tjibaou Cultural Centre to discover what the destination can offer the MICE market. Among the group were representatives from APNIC, CiEvents, Aura Events, © Dreamweavertravel, Totem group, NZ Orthopaedic Association and S2N Events Ltd.
These professionals tested the partner hotels, activities offered by New Cal Events and tourist attractions for groups in Bourail (the Deva Domaine, Poé and Bourail Museum, amongst others), Moindou (Fort Teremba), Sarraméa, Boulouparis (distillery) and of course the capital (Nouméa’s markets, the Tjibaou Cultural Centre, the Parc Forestier Forest Park and Zoo, Amédée Lighthouse Island, Duck Island and more)
