New Caledonia Tourism and the Maison du Lagon – Nautical New Caledonian Information Office – shared a stand at the Sydney International Boat Show from 3 to 7 August, to showcase the advantages of the New Caledonian lagoon and the great diversity of marine tourist activities!
The Sydney International Boat Show is the largest marine recreational event in the Southern hemisphere.
It is open to both professionals and those who enjoy recreational marine activity (skippers, divers, fishermen, families, etc.).
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the Boat Show was held from 3 to 7 August in the new International Convention Centre Sydney. The lively, modern setting was an excellent venue for NCT and the Maison du Lagon, whose stand featured the colours of the lagoon in order to promote the wealth of available activities. The experience was extended further by offering virtual reality headsets to fully immerse the
visitors in New Caledonia.
In total, 63,000 visitors flocked to this very popular Show, to the great satisfaction of NCT, who plan to renew the experience in 2018.
