18 December 2017Two new programs that would build on the current programs at the Pacific Technical and Further Education (Pacific TAFE) will be available at the University of the South Pacific in the 2018 academic year.
They are the Diploma of Culinary Arts and Management (Level 5) and Diploma of Hospitality Management – Events, Food & Beverage and Front Office (Level 5).
Hasmukh Lal, Executive Director of Pacific TAFE said the two courses were industry driven and available at both Laucala and Nadi.
“Pacific TAFE offers internationally accredited levels III and IV and these Diplomas will be advance knowledge, skills and attributes of graduates,” said Hasmukh Lal, Executive Director of Pacific TAFE.
A statement from the university says the Diploma of Culinary Arts and Management (Level 5) would enable the cookery program at Pacific TAFE to incorporate international standards and Pacific culinary techniques into the curricula.
