Tourism Minister Nicole Bouteau received on Tuesday the artist and producer Ken Carlter, as well as Serena Forgeas Carlter, both founders of the production company Kearena.
The meeting was attended by Torea Colas, marketing director of Air Tahiti Nui, and Roland Garrigou, manager of the Tahiti Ora dance troupe.
They discussed the organization of the fourth edition of the Heiva i Paris, to be held on 8 and 9 September 2017, at the Bobino Theater in the 14 th arrondissement of Paris, in partnership with Air Tahiti Nui.
Since its inception, the event has had a great success with the public, with 700 spectators in 2014 and 2,000 in 2016. The media coverage of this event reached more than three million people. The Heiva i Paris is more than a contest, it is a real promotional showcase for Tahiti and its islands.
This meeting was also the occasion to evoke the tours of Tahiti Ora in France and Europe in 2018 and 2019. The troupe will present its show Mana. For Tahiti Ora, this production is a vector of promotion for the destination in connection with the new communication campaign of Tahiti Tourism The Islands of Tahiti – The Islands of Mana.
