19 June 2026The Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) has announced the launch of the SPTO Success Guide Series, a new initiative designed to provide industry members with practical, easy-to-use resources that strengthen business growth, resilience, and operational success. Developed in collaboration with Learn.fast, the series is aligned with SPTO’s Strategic Focus Areas (SFAs) and reflects a results-oriented approach to addressing key challenges and opportunities in the tourism sector. Each guide offers concise, actionable insights that operators can apply directly within their businesses.
The programme is being implemented as a six-month pilot from May to October 2026, with six Success Guides released at the end of each month. Outcomes will be assessed through member surveys to determine future continuation and expansion.
The initial guides cover topics including:
- SME Development and Resilience Toolkit
- Tourism Under Pressure Middle East Crisis
- Turning Tourism Insights into Action
- Winning Development Partner Funding
- Strengthening Negotiating Skills
- Preparing to Negotiate new Routes
SPTO Chief Executive Officer Christopher Cocker said the initiative reflects the organisation’s commitment to equipping members with tools that deliver tangible value.
“The Success Guide Series is about giving our members practical resources they can use immediately to strengthen their businesses,” Cocker said. “By aligning the guides with our Strategic Focus Areas, we ensure they address real industry needs while supporting resilience and sustainable growth across the Pacific.”
The Success Guide Series forms part of the enhanced benefits offered through SPTO’s Industry Membership Programme, providing members with access to valuable business development resources and industry knowledge.
