The Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) has the privilege of partnering with the United Nations and other project partners to deliver the Pacific Unite Virtual Concert, which will be screened both regionally and internationally on Saturday 15th August, 2020.
Featuring artists from throughout the Pacific region, the event has attracted attention and support from global figures like HRH The Prince of Wales.
Speaking at the official press conference earlier this week, SPTO CEO, Christopher Cocker emphasized the need for solidarity during these challenging times.
“COVID-19 has presented our region with overwhelming and unprecedented challenges which we can only overcome together,” he said.
“We see this as an invaluable opportunity to rethink the future of our Pacific so let us stand united but unique; recognizing that our diversity is also our greatest strength in building back better and stronger, for now and for always”.
