With the recommendation for assistance by the former JICA Volunteer to Yap Visitors Bureau (YVB), Ms. Keiko Yokoyama, a Pacific Islands Center (PIC) staff in Tokyo, Ms. Reiko Takada visited Yap during the Yap-Day event to obtain some articles and pho-tos for the update of the promotional booklet for the Center.
The PIC office is an international organization established on 1st October, 1996 by the Government of Japan and South Pacific Forum to assist Forum Island Countries in sustainable economic development through the pro-motion of trade, investment and tourism between Japan and the Pacific Island Countries.
