Reddy Foundation continues to support Pinktober

Reddy Foundation, the charitable arm of the Reddy Group has stamped its ongoing commitment to the Fiji Cancer Society with a $10,000 donation during the Pinktober Walk.

Over the years, Tanoa Hotels, a major part of Reddy Group, has supported the Fiji Cancer Society through the Reddy Foundation, established in 2015 to back projects and organisations supporting initiatives in health, poverty relief and education, while also providing disaster relief across New Zealand, and the South Pacific, including Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga.

This year’s theme “Awareness into Action,” came alive with the Pinktober Walk at My Suva Park today, Wednesday, 1 October, where staff, local community members and supporters joined to walk in solidarity with those affected by cancer. Beyond supporting cancer awareness, the walk highlighted the Group’s commitment to foster the importance of community engagement in meaningful action

Speaking at the event, Tanoa Hotel Group’s Area General Manager, Fiji, Mr. Narend Kumar, said, “At Tanoa, we believe that small actions can create big change. By supporting the Fiji Cancer Society, we hope to ease the journey of those facing cancer and strengthen the network of care available to our communities.”

He further added, “The Pinktober Walk reminds us that together, we can turn awareness into meaningful action. It’s about standing with those affected, inspiring hope and encouraging everyone to prioritise health and early detection.”

Reddy, whose legacy of community empowerment continues to guide the company’s efforts in creating meaningful change in the communities we serve under the Reddy Foundation Programme” stated one of Mr Reddy’s daughters, and company Director, Ms Kamini Reddy.
