South Pacific Cruise Alliance

Because the South Pacific islands are isolated in the South Pacific area, it became necessary to develop a regional approach to the cruise shipping sector.
The South Pacific Cruise Alliance is a non-profit organisation which was officially founded and recognised in 2011. It is now gathering 7 countries of the South Pacific region from American Samoa, Cook Islands, French Polynesia, Pitcairn, Samoa, the Kingdom of Tonga, and newly entered Wallis & Futuna.

The purpose of this regional organisation is to promote the South Pacific area as a cruise navigation destination, develop good relationships and collaboration with cruise line operators and the cruise industry in general to help, amongst other matters, setting up new cruise sea routes.

Mr Bud GILROY had been appointed interim Chairman in 2020, after the resignation of Mr David VAEAFE, until the next General Assembly in 2021.
