15 August 2017The Vanuatu business community and tourism operators have again rallied around the Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) to make Vanuatu’s most prestigious showcase of tourism produce happen.
There are only 18 more days until the first of the delegates begin to arrive.
“We are very pleased to see all our sponsors back on board to support TOK TOK Vanuatu 2017.
“We really couldn’t do it without their support and contributions,” said Ms Adela Aru, General Manager of the VTO.
“Our sponsors support us in many ways that make the event memorable for this important group of travel media and wholesale partners,” she said.
“ANZ are an unfailing supporter who have been working with us on TOK TOK for the past 14 years and have committed to the event for the next 2 years.
“Air Vanuatu ensures all our visitors reach Vanuatu safe and sound, and they also ensure that we are getting these groups to some of our outer island locations this year including Santo and Tanna.
“Iririki Island Resort and Spa are hosting the meeting schedules and gala dinner and lunches.
“We are proud to be part of TOK TOK and the team at Iririki always gets a kick out of showcasing Vanuatu for such an important event,” said Steve Frichot, General Manager at Iririki Island Resort and Spa.
Adventures in Paradise make sure all visitors get to where they need to be, when they need to be there.
“We are always able to rely on their efficiency and support when it comes to TOK TOK.
“Other organisations we need to thank for their support include AON, South Pacific Tourism Organisation, Airports Vanuatu (AVL), Nambawan Water, Telecom Vanuatu (TVL), Warwick Le Lagon and Vanuatu Hotels and Resorts Association.
“They all play an important role in the success of TOK TOK Vanuatu.
“We are looking forward to a fruitful partnership in 2017 and are excited by the potential that this year’s event presents for Vanuatu,” Mrs Aru said.
TOK TOK Vanuatu 2016 is expecting 45 International media and travel wholesalers in 2017 from Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, United States, Canada, China, Japan and Fiji. A total of 46 Vanuatu tourism operators, including representatives from all provinces will participate.
During the two official days of meetings there will be over 1,350 individual appointments and discussion on business opportunities.
