Be ready for Hawaiki Nui Va’a

In just over a month, the Hawaiki Nui Va’a will take place from the 1st to the 3rd of November.  “Va’a” or outrigger canoe is the national sport of the ISlands of Tahiti and has grown in popularity globally over recent years.  Over 100 outrigger canoes will first race long distance between 4 of our islands without the luxury of a break during racing.
The arrival at the final of the race at Matira Point in Bora Bora is a huge spectacle and definitely one to be on the beach for, if you are so inclined.

5th round of the Waterman Tahiti Tour 

At the end of July, the fifth and final round of the 2017 Waterman Tahiti Tour took place at Teahupo’o, world famous with surfers as one of the heaviest waves.
This event is a unique water sports event, mixing speed and endurance, competition and sharing in order to preserve the art of aquatic sports in The Islands of Tahiti.
