Air Marshall Islands And Nauru Airlines Collaborate To Support Regional Connectivity And Long-term Aviation Sustainability
4 July 2025The South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE) 2025 was a celebration of connection, culture, and collaboration. Held in Fiji, this year’s event welcomed media, buyers, and seller’s from across the globe — and many of them arrived thanks to the extensive flight network of Fiji Airways, the national carrier and proud gateway to the Pacific.
From the Pacific Islands to Asia, the United States, Europe, and India, Fiji Airways connected the world to SPTE through Nadi International Airport — the hub of the South Pacific. More than 2,500 business meetings. 61 international buyers. 79 sellers from across the Pacific. 15 media representatives from both the Pacific and international regions.

International Routes That Brought the World to SPTE
Fiji Airways operates a growing international route network, providing direct and connecting flights that made access to SPTE 2025 both seamless and scenic. Earlier this year, Fiji Airways made aviation history by becoming a full member of the prestigious Oneworld Alliance, giving SPTE attendees greater connectivity and a seamless travel experience through more than 1,000 destinations globally. The airline also strengthened its codeshare relationship with American Airlines, allowing passengers to earn and redeem AAdvantage miles — a major benefit for North American travellers attending the event.
