27 July 2017The University of the South Pacific (USP) Open Day is a much anticipated annual event that university staff, high school students and prospective students all around the region look forward to. It’s an ideal platform to those looking for quality education and a brighter future continues to play an important in fostering the young minds of our youth and molding them into model citizens of their respective countries to one day be active contributors to the growth of their nations. The Open Day is aimed at ensuring that prospective students are made fully aware of the different faculties and courses within the university, so as to enable them to make sound decisions regarding their future studies and career paths.

For those interested in a career in tourism in the Pacific Islands, the School of Tourism & Hospitality Management had a display at the Open Day, of which SPTO was a part of.

The SPTO team helped raise awareness amongst the many high school students and prospective students on the tourism development and marketing work that SPTO undertakes in Fiji and across its other 15 Pacific Island member countries.
Over 300 students, teachers and USP staff came by the SPTO booth at the USP Open Day today.
