Tourism Ministers from 17 Pacific Island countries will gather in Port Vila next week (Friday October 27th) to attend the annual Council of Tourism Ministers meeting and to discuss a number of key aspects of tourism development in the region.

A visitors’ information and bookings centre for Tanna will open its office this week for tourism member signups. Within the next couple of months tourists will be able to book local bungalows, hotels, and tours online from anywhere in the world.

Vanuatu’s travel industry is getting on the front foot in planning for future growth of tourism from China.
