3 August 2017In May 2017, attendance in international hotels grew by 10.9% compared with May 2016.
This increase can be seen in hotels in the Iles Du Vent and Sous-Le-Vent Islands. It is particularly vigorous on the island of Bora Bora which
Represents 33% of the nights consumed in French Polynesia.
All management indicators improved compared to May 2016.
The average load factor (CMR) was 73.9%, an increase of 3.6 percentage points, average revenue per rented room (RMC) increased by 16% to 39062 F.CFP.
The average income per available room (RevPar) is up 22% to 28 875 F.CFP.
On a cumulative basis since the beginning of the year, the CMR stood at 63.9%, an increase of 1.2 percentage points compared with the previous year.
