A Wellington Woman’s Fiji Holiday Turns into a Life-Saving Journey at PSH Hospitals
21 November 2025Tanoa International Hotel is delighted to reveal its newly renovated spaces, marking a significant step forward in the hotel’s ongoing commitment to exceptional comfort and contemporary Fijian hospitality. The official opening was held on 19 November.
The first phase of the renovation introduced the Deluxe King Rooms, unveiled in November 2024. These rooms now offer a calm and modern retreat, each with a private patio and direct access to lush tropical gardens, an ideal setting for guests seeking both tranquillity and connection to nature.
Further enhancements continued throughout 2025, including the hotel’s refreshed pool, upgraded dining experiences at Fresh Pizza, Tandoor & Grill (opened April 2025), and extensive improvements to public areas. Key spaces—such as the Lobby, Tanoa Conference Room, and Maître D, were completely redesigned, culminating in their reopening in October 2025. Together, these upgrades create a more cohesive, stylish, and welcoming arrival experience.
Designed to meet the needs of both leisure and business travellers, the renovated facilities blend modern design with warm, intuitive service. Fresh Pizza, Tandoor & Grill now bring a vibrant new energy to the hotel’s dining scene, while the enhanced meeting and event spaces including the fully updated Tanoa Conference Room, set the stage for seamless gatherings of all kinds.
The final phase of the redevelopment, set for completion in March 2026, will introduce a new Bar, the Talei Conference Room, and the Convention Centre Conference Room. The Tanoa Event Centre continues to anchor the hotel’s event offering, featuring three distinctive venues: the Orchid Room, Tagimoucia Room, and Vale Ni Kana.
During the opening, Mr Rohit Reddy, Managing Director of Tanoa Hotel Group, shared:
“Our goal has always been to ensure every guest feels at home while experiencing the very best of Fiji’s hospitality. These renovations reflect our dedication to comfort, innovation, and service excellence.”
Mr Narend Kumar, Area General Manager, Fiji, added:
