The Hotel Section Of The “Tahitian Village” Won By The Group Kaitiaki Tagalog

By decision of April 13, 2018, the Jury has designated the group KAITIAKI TAGALOA, winner of each of the six lots of the call for projects “The Tahitian Village”, we learn today from the government.

To enable the “Tahitian Village” project to be implemented, the public establishment TNAD launched a so-called call for projects procedure on 6 of the 16 project lots, 4 hotel lots (lots 1, 2, 3 and 4) and 2 condominium lots and service offers (lots 5a and 5b), November 24, 2017.

The deadline for submission of applications and initial proposals was 15 February 2018 at 12.00 Tahiti time.

To carry out this work, a technical commission and a jury have been created, assisted by financial, legal and architectural experts.

After nearly two months of analysis of the proposals, negotiations, and hearings, the Jury met for the last time on Friday, April 13, 2018, in order to vote and rank the final proposals submitted by the candidates with respect to the judging criteria. proposals set out in the consultation regulation.

The President of French Polynesia proposed to the members of the jury, who unanimously accepted it, to then suspend the procedure for the call for projects, so as to give the opportunity to the next government that will come from the election of representatives to the Assembly of French Polynesia on April 22 and May 6, to authorize the signing of the commitment protocols for the six lots and finalize the contracts.

From now on, French Polynesia has a solid project, realistic and financed, carried by serious investors and close to our values and our culture.

Whatever the outcome of the Polynesian vote, the next government will have the opportunity to implement this project.
