Launched last September, the Trophies of Tourism are part of a dynamic around the strong message: “We are Polynesia; We are the wealth of tourism; Tourism is our wealth. “The ambition of this first edition was to mobilize both tourism professionals and the population to show the interest and diversity of a dynamic and buoyant sector, while distinguishing innovative tourism initiatives”, said the president in his speech.
“We put the Polynesians, tourism stakeholders that you are, at the heart of our development that can not be done without the women and men of this country. “Growth has been there for more than three years and the outlook is very promising. Our destination is more and more attractive. These very encouraging results are due to the joint efforts of the actors of the whole sector “, also indicated the president. Thus, a new significant increase in the cruise industry is expected in 2018 with nearly 1100 stopovers and the Polynesian sky is very coveted with the arrival in May of French Blue and November 2018 of United Airlines, in addition to Air Tahiti Nui and Air France serving the European and American markets.
