Fiji Link Grows Fleet To Increase Capacity To Northern Destinations
23 August 2017BEAUTIFUL, stunning and scenic.
These were some of the adjectives used by Professional Golfers Association ambassadors who participated in the Fiji International to describe the Natadola Bay Golf Course and the Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay.
Tourism Fiji, in partnership with PGA Australia and one of Australia’s leading golf holiday wholesalers, EasyGolf Worldwide, organised for 48 PGA Club Professional ambassadors to participate in the Fiji International.
The trip was part of an incentive organised for ambassadors of the TaylorMade Golf Company.
TaylorMade is an American manufacturer of golf clubs, bags and golfing accessories.
Stuart Hergt, PGA Australia chief operating officer, said Fiji provided some of the best facilities in terms of accommodation, dining and golfing in the region.
“The Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay is another fine example of a wonderful facility here in Fiji that international guests can seek out,” he said.
“Why wouldn’t you want to come here?
“Tourism Fiji is a wonderful partner of PGA Australia and success grows when partners support each other.
“Fiji is very lucky to have the facilities to attract international tourists such as this hotel and the Natadola Bay Golf Course and building this type of infrastructure is very important to showcase Fiji’s natural beauty.”
Tourism Fiji said golf was one of the country’s main niche sports and many who had taken the time to travel and play here had made comment that Fiji represented a veritable golfing nirvana.
