Tokoriki Island Resort Management and team took the opportunity to showcase all of the amazing upgrades and enhancements made at the resort over the past 12 months to some of their key International trade partners prior to the commencement of FTE 2017 followed by a very touching day with a special visit by Namamanuca primary school choir from the Yanuya Village joining the celebration. Gifts of school supplies from our trade partners for the children was very much appreciated by the Head Teacher Mr.Matai Beci
Hand-made pottery displays and basket weaving by the talented ladies also from the Village encouraged our trade partners to create their own masi masterpiece of which was then framed as a memento of their experience at Tokoriki Island Resort. Plus as an extra surprise, Elvis was resurrected and performed some of his golden oldies before the guests returned to Port Denarau for the FTE opening.
“We feel very honoured that we were able to spend the day with our very important trade partners” Andrew Turnbull the owner of Tokoriki Island Resort said. “We know that they have choices and I am really pleased that they shared the day with us. It’s our way of saying thank you for their amazing support”.
