Tour Managers Expands Team Resources In Japan

Tour Managers Fiji has announced the appointment of Shoko Fukuda as sales and marketing executive for Japan.

A statement by the managing director Damend Gounder said: “Ms Fukuda was recruited after an extensive search for the right person for this position which apart from the education and experience should also have good relationship with both the Japan and Fijian tourism industry and Shoko san fits that requirement the best.”

Ms Fukuda has worked in the Japan Travel and Fiji’s Tourism Industry for over 20 years with 14 years of this in senior positions in Fiji.

Mr Gounder further added: “Ms Fukuda brings to the company all that is required to enhance Tour Managers Fiji efforts and support for the Narita flights recently announced by Fiji Airways.

“The national airline has taken a huge step for Fiji Tourism and we need to give it all the support and this appointment is part of our plans for Japan market.

“I am certain that there are positive opportunities to enjoy a good share of the Japanese market.”
