Tourism Minister Thanks All For Keeping Samoa Beautiful

The Minister of Tourism, Hon. Sala Fata Pinati, officially pulled the curtain on this year’s Teuila Festival, following a hectic week long schedule. Sala thanked everyone involved – and invited tourists to return next year. With the Theme – Beautiful Samoa, Sala was especially grateful for the country’s efforts in keeping Samoa beautiful.
The Annual Teuila Festival 2017 was filled with fun filled activities and a showcase of talents and cultural performances, marking 27 years of this National event.

With the Theme – Beautiful Samoa, Sala was especially grateful for the country’s efforts in keeping Samoa beautiful.
“Thank you to all our people and to village communities whom without you we would not have been able to ensure a beautiful Samoa.” Said Sala. “Through sustaining our cultural and natural heritage, as well as the respectful pride and hospitality that is iconic of our people, we managed to host our overseas visitors. “Not only that but in maintaining of these beautiful islands that we have inherited, and call our home.”
The Minister added that the Teuila Festival is all about promoting Samoa as a tourism destination.
“It’s another way to express ourselves in laughter, song and dance, arts and crafts, games, and entertaining activities. “Also, appreciating our chefs and the food, and most especially in expressing our gratitude to God through the beautiful hymn presentations by the Christian Church Denominations.”
“We trust that all have enjoyed the 27^th Annual Teuila Festival, and we look forward to you joining us again next year with your families and friends.”
