22 November 2024Tuvalu is excited to announce its participation in the highly anticipated Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, which will take place from April 13 to October 13, 2025. Under the engaging subtheme “Connecting Lives,” Tuvalu aims to showcase its culture, innovations, and aspirations while highlighting the importance of global connectivity for small island nations.
The Expo 2025 event revolves around the central theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” and will function as a “People’s Living Lab.” The Expo 2025 will focus on showcasing innovations in technology, culture, and sustainability, with three key sub-themes: Saving Lives, Empowering Lives, and Connecting Lives. Each sub-theme will highlight essential aspects of societal progress and development.
Tuvalu’s participation is a unique opportunity to present its culture, innovations, and aspirations to a global audience. By embracing the sub-theme “Connecting Lives,” Tuvalu aims to emphasise the importance of global connectivity, especially for small island nations like itself.
This platform allows Tuvalu to raise awareness about its challenges, opportunities, and the role of international cooperation in addressing them. The Expo offers an avenue for cultural exchange and diplomatic engagement, helping to build stronger relationships with countries around the world.
Tuvalu is proud to be part of this global event and looks forward to sharing its vision, innovations, and values with participants from around the world.
