The South Pacific Tourism Organisation welcomes a student attaché who will be on 6 weeks stint with the organization from 23rd November 2017 to 19 January 2018, at their Suva office.
Ms Wen-Chun Ko, a Fijian national is a 2nd year School of Tourism & Hospitality Management student, at the University of the South Pacific based in Suva.
Wen chose SPTO to do her attachment because it is a regional organisation whose main focus is marketing the Pacific Islands to the world, an area that she is interested in.
It is hoped that this opportunity at job experience and mentoring will give her a good platform in her future ambitions to join the workforce, possibly work in the tourism and hospitality industry in Fiji or the Pacific.
Wen expects to gain more knowledge and skills in marketing and also to complete her school research project which is based on her attachment with SPTO.
