Tokatoka Resort maintained its Christmas vibe lighting up the resort’s front entrance, around it, and singing Christmas carols on Tuesday night.
Trees were decorated with colourful lights and the finishing touch was a star above the roof of the entrance area.
Tokatoka Resort general manager Nasoni Tamani said having the lighting of the tree signifies Jesus Christ as the light of the Resort and he thanked the staff for their hard work throughout the year.
“This has always been a tradition for Warwick (Hotels and Resorts) worldwide and for Tokatoka Resort we started since it opened in 2012,” he said.
“This ceremony is also dedicated to all the hardworking staff, those who have recently joined, some have left us, they get together and celebrate this with our guests and business partners.”
He added special programmes have been set in place for the Christmas season.
“It’s that time of the year which everybody looks forward to especially during this Christmas festive season,” Mr Tamani added.
“We have a special Christmas lunch for our guests and Christmas carols. Come Christmas Eve we will be having another choir so this will be ongoing until Christmas day.
“When the guests check into the hotel they will see the lights and the star. We are doing this not only about the business, we want but to showcase the love of Jesus.”
