The Cook Islands welcome the recent announcement by New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Rt. Hon. Winston Peters, on the appointment of Ms Tui Dewes as New Zealand’s High Commissioner-designate to the Cook Islands.

The Cook Islands government has drawn down on a $US10.3 million loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to help finance its response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Te Kauono Tutara e te Mana Tiaki – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration (MFAI) is pleased to advise the release of EUR 1,350,000 (NZD 2,350,000) from the European Union (EU) as part of the EU’s partnership co-operation signed with the Cook Islands in 2017 to improve wastewater management systems in the Cook Islands, as committed under the European Development Funds (EDF).
